This week, we are going to revisit our Las Vegas History Series. We are focusing on The Las Vegas Inn. According to both Chip Rack and the Chip Guide, the address for this casino was 1501 W Sahara Avenue.
When it comes to casino games, the place had craps, blackjack and slots. Operating years have been documented as between 1981 and 1989 due to different casino tokens that have those years on them. Aside from that information above, there is not much else known about the Las Vegas Inn.
Today, the Artisan Hotel Boutique is at the address of where the Las Vegas Inn reportedly was. The hotel has 63 rooms. What makes this place interesting is that any individual or party can purchase the entire resort for their own enjoyment. You can book the entire hotel for $8500 a day.
Buying out the resort gives you exclusive access to the wedding chapel, ultra lounge, private dining area, fitness center, bar pool and the hotel’s swimming pool which women have the option to go topless at. The resort has a great feel of a small and interesting place just west of the Las Vegas Strip. Additionally, valet parking is always free.
If you are looking to just rent a room, prices average around $45 total including the resort fee. Not a bad option for being right near everything.
