Recently, the Tropicana Hotel and Casino was sold to new owners. It was purchased by the Rhode Island based Bally’s Corporation. The acquisition makes Bally’s Corporation a new player on the Las Vegas Strip.
Bally’s Corporation has other gaming properties in Colorado, Delaware, Mississippi and New Jersey. Not to be confused with Bally’s on the Las Vegas Strip, that resort is owned by Caesars Entertainment.
The Tropicana Hotel and Casino will also welcome back its entertainment at the end of the May. Both of their shows, Legends in Concert and the Prince tribute show Purple Reign will resume their productions.
